These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CodedVisuals website and library, provided by pixelcave ("we", "our", "us"). By using the site or purchasing the library, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the applicable License. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or library.

Use of the website

You may browse the library, preview compositions, and read the documentation for the purpose of evaluating and using CodedVisuals. You may not scrape, bulk download, or attempt to extract the full source of compositions outside of a valid purchase, and you may not use any automated means to access the site in a way that interferes with its operation.

Purchases

When you purchase the library, you receive a license to use the visual compositions as described in the License. CodedVisuals is offered under a Solo and a Team license. All purchases are subject to the License that applies to your plan. Prices and the contents of the library may change over time. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Polar.

Refunds

In general we do not offer refunds, because the library is delivered as digital content that can be copied and used immediately, so please consider your purchase carefully beforehand. If you experience a technical problem with your purchase or access, contact us and we will do our best to help.

Accounts

To access the library you create an account using the license key from your purchase. You are responsible for keeping your account and license key secure, and for any activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website or library to break the law, infringe the rights of others, distribute the compositions in violation of the License, or interfere with, overburden, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers, or other users' accounts.

Intellectual property

The website and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding content you provide) are and remain the exclusive property of pixelcave and its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Our content may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer of warranty

The website and library are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the materials are accurate, complete, or current, and we may change them at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the website or library. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is effective as soon as it is posted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
