License

This License Agreement is a binding agreement between you and pixelcave ("we", "our", "us"). By purchasing, installing, copying, or using CodedVisuals (the "library"), a collection of coded visual compositions and related source code, you agree to the terms below.

Available licenses

CodedVisuals is sold under two licenses. The license you receive depends on the plan you purchase.

  • Solo license. For one individual (a founder, freelancer, indie maker, or developer). Covers unlimited personal and commercial projects created by that individual.
  • Team license. For a team of up to 10 people who are employees and/or contractors of the business entity that purchased the license. The team shares a single license, there are no separate per person accounts, and it covers unlimited projects created by the team.

Grant of license

Subject to your payment of the applicable fee and your compliance with this agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and modify the library's source code to design and build personal, client, and commercial projects ("Applications"). You own the original work you create. We retain all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the library itself.

What you can do

  • Use the compositions in unlimited personal and commercial projects, within the scope of your license.
  • Copy, modify, and customize the compositions to fit your brand and product.
  • Use the compositions in client work and in products you sell to your own customers.
  • Let the users of your Applications use the compositions as part of those Applications. They do not need to buy their own license, as long as they are not building their own separate projects with the library.

What you cannot do

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the compositions as a standalone product, template, starter kit, or component library, whether modified or not.
  • Use the compositions to create a derivative or competing product, or offer them (free or paid) on a marketplace, e-shop, or website.
  • Make the compositions available for others to download, copy, or extract for free or for a fee.
  • Use the compositions in a site builder, AI builder, MCP server or similar tool where your users can generate websites, derivative designs, or third party products.
  • Claim the library, or a derivative of it, as your own product.

Ownership

We continue to retain all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the library. Your purchase grants you a license to use the compositions, not ownership of the library itself. These terms apply to the original work by us, and not to any third party resources that may be referenced by a composition, which carry their own licenses and terms.

No warranty

The library is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall we be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the library or its use. Our entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the library.
